This large contemporary extension required careful consideration to deal with a neighbour’s right of light. This informed the overall design with a pitched roof adjacent to the adjoining neighbour incorporating numerous roof lights to maximise natural light into the kitchen.
The space comprises a large island and bi-fold doors leading onto a raised patio.
A small workspace area has been created within the link between the dining area and kitchen, which benefits from ample natural light coming from the roof lights in the side extension.
